Safety & Equipment

All boats are fully equipped with the required safety and emergency equipment, including:

• Adult and child life jackets

• Anchor

• Life ring

• First aid kit

• Floating anchor

• Ropes

• Signal flares

• Smoke signal

• Flashlight

• Safety knife

Licensing & Navigation Limits

Boats with 30 HP (No License Required)

No boat license is required.
Navigation is limited to a maximum distance of 4 nautical miles from Paleros.
Permitted areas include:

• Agios Giannis

• Vathiavali Beach

• Nikiana (Lefkas) for lunch stops

• Scorpios Island

Boats with 100 HP (License Required)

A valid boat license is required.
Navigation is limited to a maximum distance of 9 nautical miles from Paleros.
Permitted areas include:

• Meganisi (Vathi & Spartochori)

• Scorpios Island

• Vathiavali Beach

• Agios Giannis Beach

General Boat Hire Conditions

• Boats are intended for coastal exploration only. Crossing open sea is not permitted.

• Boats are available for daytime use only, unless otherwise specified.

• The maximum number of passengers allowed by the boat’s license must not be exceeded.

• Third-party insurance is included. Any damage to the boat or engine is the responsibility of the hirer.

• Boats must not be used in tidal or restricted waters.

• Boats are equipped exclusively for daylight cruising.

• Fuel is not included and must be paid locally.

• Boats should be booked in advance, preferably at the time of holiday booking.

• No additional deposit is required, unless stated otherwise.

Cruises – What’s Included

The following services are included in skippered cruises:

• Professional skipper

• Fuel (petrol)

• Bottled water

• Boat rental

• Maximum capacity: Up to 8 passengers plus skipper

Data We Collect

Online reservation procedure

Guests of third party websites are asked to give personal data in order to complete their online reservations. The data they are asked to give are upon the administrator – controller of the system.

Data given automatically

There are many instances that we get data automatically. Such data are: IP address, type of device, location, date and time of accessing our system, pages that are visited and clicked, from which website someone came to our system, browser that is used, software that is used in the device or computer.

Data given from other sources

Our booking engines are integrated with other websites (online wholesalers, Online Travel Agents, etc) who are giving data about completed reservations. The data are used from controllers (administrators) for managing purposes.

Data we share with others

We share the above personal data with third party systems for basic purposes of completing an online reservation. For example, we use a third party mail provider for security reasons (to avoid emails going to spam). Our systems are cloud and we use hosting services of Amazon.com (https://aws.amazon.com/security/) . In addition in some instances we share data with third party systems for managing or accounting purposes of the controller (administrator). Also we share data with banks and online payment gateways for successful secure transactions.
